Academic Suite's Learning Environment Integration feature allows a Learning Management System to co-exist with and run within the Academic Suite framework. This integration is enabled via a Learning Environment Connector (LEC) that provide the communication protocols between Academic Suite and the integrated system. Similar to Building Blocks, a Connector provides specific "extension points" for
interactions between the Blackboard application and the integrated system, such as authenticating a session or creating a URL for redirection into an online course.
The installation process involves
- Installing a Moodle Building Block connector in Blackboard
- Configuring the Moodle Learning Environment Integration
- Deploying the Moodle php code on the Moodle system
- Configuring the Moodle files
See Docs/incoming for documentation and a zipped Eclipse project. Code may also be checked out from the Subversion trunk.
